“John Hughes Lied, Elvis Died” is Samantha’s second short film. Inspired by John Hughes films of the 80s and Sam’s own prom experience—Maria makes prom night memorable when she steals the Elvis cutout lauded by the school staff. However, her “friends” ruin the night, her dress, and Elvis.
